Shady Mail Series (Subscription)

My name is Theo, I am an Artisit, Photographer & Videographer, Sailor, Surfer, and Outdoor Enthusiast living in a 100 year old wooden apartment in Miami, Florida. I have always loved telling stories of meaningful experiences that have made memorable impacts on my life. 

Living in Miami, I have seen the rise in development and canopy loss. This gave me an idea to teach people, spread awareness and art, and make impact. Thats why i created the Shady Mail Series.

My current mail series is about the Trees. The ones that make you stop and look. From the Red Mangroves in the Everglades, to the Bald Cypress, and the towering Live Oaks. I’ll be diving into a new tree each month. In effort to reduce paper waste, 90% of the paper used in this series will be homemade recycled paper. As an effort to help mitigate tree canopy loss in Miami, Ill be building and installing 1 Native Bird Box for every 10 new subscribers! The Goal is to install 100 Boxes around the city by the end of the year to help mitigate the loss of tree cavities that my area is facing.

Every month I mail you a custom envelope with hand crafted artwork inspired by my perspective on life and the things i love doing the most, and a typed letter with a story about the artwork, location and topic being covered that month. 

My first series was on Florida's National Parks. I covered 6 of my favorite national parks in Florida and talked about the best ways to enjoy the area, the coolest things to do, what wildlife you might see, and even included some coordinate location pins for you to go check out on your own.

All prints are designed, hand-pulled, and printed in-house, giving each one a tactile, personal touch you won’t find anywhere else.

Shady Mail Series orders ship towards the end of each month. (Typically the 22nd - 26th)

Allow up to 7 business days after your fulfillment confirmation for US orders to arrive, up to 21 business days for International.

The monthly sign-up cutoff is the 20th. If you sign up after the 20th of the month, you will receive the next month's print as your first. (eg. you sign up August 21st, your first order will ship in the last week of September.) When you join at the beginning of a sign up period, (21st - 26th) there may be some overlap in your payments before receiving your first print. Rest assured every transaction corresponds to a unique print!
